Seasonal work
Each year, we look to employ 250 seasonal workers to join our temporary workforce here at Boxford Farms. The main responsibilities of this workforce are to pick all of the crops we grow throughout the farm, including apples, strawberries, raspberries, cherries and blueberries!
We can offer you between 40-48 hours of work spread over six days, with at least one day off per week. Hours are weather dependent, so each day your hours could be different from the last.
From March to November, we have seasonal picking and other harvest and husbandry work available for each of our seven crops. In the winter months, from December to February, we carry out winter husbandry, construction, crop cover work, and plant new crops in preparation for the next season.
When you arrive for work, every new team member must complete our picker training, as well as a Health & Safety Induction. This helps keep you and your coworkers safe and ensures you get the most from your time with us.
From time to time, you may be required to work on a different site to your accommodation. If this happens, transport will be provided for you free of charge.
You will also accrue holiday entitlement as you work.
If this sounds like the perfect fit for you and you would like to work on an award-winning fruit farm, apply for a job today! For more information or to apply, please email Viki Ananieva at work@bsfarms.co.uk or call her on 07387 022380.
